Cook For Albania

On the dawn of 26 November 2019, northwestern Albania was hit by a 6.4 magnitude earthquake trapping dozens of sleeping children, women, and men in toppled apartment buildings, hotels, and houses, with a death toll of 51 people, about 1,000 injured and about 14,000 people temporary displaced.
The epicenter was around 20 miles west of the heavily populated capital city of Tirana, between the coastal town of Durres and the city of Thumana, both of which suffered severe damage. Durrës, Thumanë, Tirana, Lezha, and Kurbin are the most affected areas in the country, with severe damage to houses, schools and other buildings

Cook For Albania is an initiative of the RRNO Foundation aiming to provide support to farmers that have been affected by the earthquake.

One of the main goals of this project is to build a logistic network that will help the farmers sell their produce to the restaurants in Tirana.
